Do you walk behind or beside a shopping cart in the store?

At the Farmers’ Market it’s getting so you have to dodge the cloth wagons. It’s become fashionable for young women. They say it’s for the kids but they’re usually running along side them taking up more space. Or when two or three women meet, they circle the wagons so they can visit in the middle of the rows.

Here's a thought. Support the store with donations like certain web content does.

You walk around, fill your cart, and at the front make a monetary donation.

Or just weigh the cart at front and charge by the pound.

I walk behind the cart so I can lean on it if necessary. Since I usually don't buy a lot at one time I prefer the small carts. They make it so much easier to navigate around others.
Where I shop the small carts are too low for good support. I mostly enjoy grocery shopping just to get out among the people and wake up the senses.

I push the cart. 🛒🚶‍♀️

I like this idea!

our grocery stores seriously need this!!! It would make thing shopping ...

My habit is to mostly walk sort of along the side of my shopping cart, specifically
to the right side. It feels right for me...

I walk behind the cart as I'm pushing it
If there is an item on a bottom shelf , I usually go to the side, hold onto the cart& reach down for it This is a disadvantage for a tall person like myself 5 10',bending down with an arthritic partial knee ,drives me nuts. I have a better time reaching up for the item with my long arms

I’m ‘not trending’ so walk behind the cart. When I’m out of the store I run with the cart and jump on the back bar for a ride. 😁
