Do you watch TV?

I don't watch TV. I find YouTube endlessly entertaining, so that's what I watch. I'm a fan of old movies and find a lot of them on YouTube. I never thought I could sit through more than 10 seconds of a silent film, but found Valentino's movies captivating. Even without sound, he was wonderful to watch.

How do they cover the swearing? Do they just bleep it out, have a bit of silence?
silence. :) No beeps or what have you. Nudity and extreme violence are blurred. That is what people have told me anyway. Generally speaking, if a movie producer thinks it needs all of that in it, I don't have much use for the movie anyway.

See, I'd consider watching a movie on that platform if they replaced swear words with duck quacks. :D

I don't watch very much TV.

DW does—she's a professional artist, but the art market has slowed since 2020 (the Covid pandemic). So she's done rather little new work, and still does some business things related to existing work. I take a pass on most of what she's choosing to watch, because she's watching TV out of boredom, I think.

We both watch the occasional movie scheduled by a TV network or on Netflix, and the occasional British mystery-series installment on TV. Due to the impact on Canada occasioned by policies of the current American federal government, I watch both Canadian and American political/economic news on TV... but not every day.

I'm not a TV junkie but I watch it quite a bit. I have a routine. We record everything on DVR or stream it so as not to have to watch the commercials. In the morning I watch the national news, Colbert, Kimmel, Seth Myers and the Daily Show. Usually just the monologues, not the guests.

I'm out of the house by noon and back by 3:00pm. If I haven't finished the late-night shows I watch them then, along with a couple of ID True Crime dramas. I'm usually cooking or preparing salads for the next day, so it has to be something I'm not totally engrossed in.

At night, Hubby and I watch some series from streaming. We just wrapped up the season finale of The Gilded Age.

Hubby has the tv on all the time while he is doing crosswords in the living room. Mostly sports, news, Turner Classic Movies, etc. and he just added Disney+. I mostly watch youtube in the evenings or the tv only on the weekends when I watch PBS or the Knowledge network as they have all my favourite murder mysteries on then.

I watch the morning news, during breakfast, then, weather permitting, I go outdoors and do yardwork, etc. By midafternoon, I'm back indoors and check the news, and maybe a game show. I watch some sports or game shows after supper, then go to bed.
