Yes my new car makes a hell of a racket when we don’t wear our seatbeltsOf course. I always have. With these modern cars, at least with mine, they don't start, unless you have it on. My car also won't start if a door isn't fully closed. If you drive without it strapped on, there will be a red flashing light and an irritating chiming noise. Even with the older cars, I have always used them. They are there to save you life. Use them!
I remember when Illinois was contemplating seat belts for motorcycles. The outcry was heard to neighboring planets I believe. Why would they consider such a stupid, stupid thing???Always. When I taught school I refused to attend a field trip in a bus without seat belts. Didn’t get the desired result but driving in my own car was quieter.
the exception was riding my motorcycle. Wouldn’t be a good idea to strap in on one of those.

That’s true , and those machines are lethal !!Yeah it's pretty automatic to put it on - all most feel naked without it!
