I already knew that Chinese food has a lot of salt or MSG in it. Reading this article and reading labels I try to not have take out food so I know how much salt is in my diet.

Do you eat Chinese food? Do you have a high blood pressure problem that you need to watch your salt intake?
If you like salt in your diet after reading this will you now change your diet?
Here's an article from the BBC back in 2018..

I've never liked really salty foods. For example, I've always considered Kentucky Fried Chicken inedible. Too salty!

I don't use salt in cooking or at the table. I don't eat much processed food. But I don't freak out about salt/sodium content in the occasional item (such as ham).

So I guess I'm okay, as far as too much salt goes.

Restaurant food, particularly Fast Food has more salt to enhance flavor, which equates into more sales $$.

Chinese food can be prepared without excess salt added, but you might have to do it yourself.

To the OP question: No! I eat 4-5+ grams of salt daily. I add 3 grams of Redmond's Real Salt and NoSalt (approx 1:1 mix) and 2 grams of Deep Ocean Minerals to my morning keto coffee. During the day I drink water salted lightly with Himalayan Pink salt.

I think most, if not all, metabolic problems are caused by eating carbohydrates (and seed oil PUFAs). The minerals in unrefined salt are necessary for good health. Carbs not so. There is no 'essential carbohydrate' nor 'carb deficiency' disease.

I used to be quite the "salt fiend", and did have high blood pressure. Being overweight and fairly heavy drinking also played a part in my HBP.
Now I'm off salt, no longer take BP meds, 120 lb.s lighter and drink moderately.

I have read that salt will not raise blood pressure in everyone. One benefit of salt is that it's iodized and we need iodine. Regardless, I only put it in water for boiling pasta or vegetables.

A few months ago the shelves in both stores I go to had no regular iodized salt that I use for cooking and baking. It’s time I looked to see if they have some now; the spice sections are basically bare.
