Do your neighbors drive you up the wall?😭😡

I grew up in a neighborhood & everyone got along fairly well, but it seems every neighborhood has one pot stirrer.

This guy had lived there for years. He would call the police on a neighbor & use someone else's name as the caller. After the police left, he would slide over & "find out what was going on". A few neighbors began to put it together because a couple of call was of something only he could have seen, like burning trash (1960-1970 era) or something that wasn't a real issue. A few others just wouldn't believe he would do such a thing, the famous thought of "he's too nice of a guy". He retired & moved & amazingly everything stopped.

I'm glad I don't live in a neighborhood. My closest neighbor is 150' away & the only noise I hear from them are the chickens, goats & an occasional woof. The only neighbors I have had problems with are the raccoons & especially the groundhogs.

No
Even though there's around 500 residents in back of us

It's a cemetery...but still

OMG aren't you worried about possible Poltergeists invasion?

I lived 6 months in a flat on the top floor with my parents. It overlooked the cemetery. On the last three months, which were very hot aka summertime, we had to sleep on the balcony.

That cemetery at night was very crowded by ghosts. As if that wasn't enough of a pow-wow, Poltergeists had fun all night getting the glasses and cups out if the cupboards and onto the counter by the kettle. Then they'd moved the coffee pot next to it.

I've come to realise that as I was a girl and the youngest soul in the family, that's why they were attracted. I guess they were trying to make coffee as some nights the kettle would suddenly whistle and steam would be coming out if the spout.

After the years I'd spent growing up with seeing and hearing ghosts and things moving around ... Once I got married, I'd always asked before moving into a new property, how far/close was the cemetery.

Thankfully, I'd been lucky. The houses hubby and I chose were always away from the prospective cemeteries. The second requirements were hospitals/funeral homes lol!

About 7 years before I got married, the house my family moved in had been built on old burial grounds. Oh that wasn't pleasant. I wrote the story about it on my blog.

No close neighbors so no problems. I will say back in the mid eighties I lived in town and enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the neighbors fight. Just a few houses away there were a couple families that hated each other, police were out there very often. It was all very entertaining.

Nada! I live at the end of an condo on the 8th floor. The building has cement walls so I never hear the neighbours. They are all nice folks.

However, I hear those "I wanta be macho" motorcycle men outside roaring up and down the streets. I also hear the "I haven't grown up and I love noise" kids in their supped-up mufflers that roar down the street.

I am seriously starting to think that a lot of men have serious emotional problems. Women just are so much smarter! Amen to that! I always tip my hat to the ladies when it comes to pure brain power. Sorry guys, you often, but not always, lose!

we have lived in this house for 45 years and have been extraordinarily lucky with neighbors. We only had one couple living across the street that caused a problem. He hauled out his Harley Davidson and reved it up in the dtiveway on Saturday and Sunday mornings "fixing"it and the wife had a German Shepherd she let out the front door to go for a ride. He immediately ran across the street to get into a barking duel with our two dogs. They were fortunately in a fenced yard. After a couple of months I finally called animal control and complained after nothing happened when I told her directly. She didn't like that. Fortunately they moved after about 6 months. No problems since then.

No, always managed to get along with my neighbors pretty well.
Same here. I don't get over involved with my neighbors but am pleasant, helpful, considerate and kind. They are the same. We keep an eye out for each other.

I bring several neighbors trays of Christmas cookies in December and part of our tomato garden bounty in the summer.

The lovely lady across the road has a daughter who used to drive both her Mum and me up the wall, but since she has now got a car, she drives her Mum and me to Tesco twice a week instead. 😊

Neighbours where we live don’t like anyone from other provinces moving in so they vandalize our property and home , steal all our stuff and constantly harass us. I wish we never moved here. They killed our last dog. There’s a valid reason I’m depressed.
I'm so sorry. And I thought my neighbors were bad. Yours are much worse. I could never get over having a dog killed. That's horrendous!!

We live in a senior mobile home park and love it here. Our neighbors are quiet all the time. Our closest neighbor is now too quiet, she had planned to retire this year and before that she died a couple of months ago. Very shocking, and our favorite neighbor was so hurt because they had been great friends.

Awwww, that's so sad.
