Does any one have their nose running all the time

my nose is always runnng clear water-i do have a lot of allergies- my daughter has 5 cats-could it be the dander from the cats get on me -i dont go out very much but she goes out a lot--i am allergic to cats and grass
Absolutely could be and it’s common for many. Antihistamine should work but you’d need to take it all the time which isn’t really a good thing. The only other alternative is to get rid of the cats 😥 if that is the cause

Continuously at different times of the day. As soon as I get up in the a.m. I take and allergy pill. I am allergic to dust, grasses and molds. Plus, I have a chronic sinus condition. Very annoying. Those cats shouldn't be near you if you are allergic twinkles.

I always have tissues in my pockets, don't go out without them. In summer I have Hay Fever, allergic to pollen, goldenrod, etc. It's been years since I had an actual cold, but my nose runs in winter as soon as the air gets cold.

I used a lot of anti-histamines in my younger days, but got away from that. Like Keesha said, they really aren't good to take very often, and the results while taking them are poor. I usually have some Chlor-Trimeton on hand, Walmart brand is ChlorTabs, but didn't have any this season and didn't bother to go looking for them. Didn't use them often.

Also, the air is dry where I live, that sometimes irritates my nasal passages and may cause some blood on the tissue at times. Been using a bedroom humidifier in winter to help. Since I was a kid, my hay fever was even worse than it is today, and I DID get colds in winter, my mother always made sure I had a hankerchief or tissues.

My right side runs all the time. Especially when I eat or drink. It is not allergies. I went to a specialist and was told that I have a deviated septum. The doctor recommended surgery to help with my breathing plus it "might" help with runny nose. I take benedryl, but not every day.

Another who always has a Kleenex in her pocket. As soon as I put on my mask it starts up. At least the mask hides it. I’m not willing to take all the OTC meds. I should invest in Kleenex stock.

The only time my nose runs is when I spend too much time in the market wearing a mask.
That's one reason I take it off as soon as I exit & don't put it on until I walk in.

Yes, I have a runny nose all the time and I have a cat. I have noticed when I go out, that my nose quits being runny and opens up. I'm guessing it's because I'm away from the cat. If I had 5 cats, it might take it longer while I was away but then again, it might not. Also, when I have been between cats, I have gotten better also. Just a suggestion, but when you do get out, try to notice if there is an improvement.

My nose runs constantly. I'm not allergic to anything, I've been tested for environmental and food allergies. I was finally diagnosed with something called Vasomotor Rhinitis, which basically means non-allergic nasal symptoms. It can be triggered by airborne pollutants or odors, certain foods or beverages, some medications, changes in the weather or underlying chronic health problems. The treatments are the same kind of nasal sprays and stuff they use for allergies, but nothing works for me.

I was also diagnosed with Gustatory Rhinitis, which means that my nose runs like a faucet every time I eat, and that's pretty disgusting. I wish I WAS allergic because then I could get allergy shots and have a chance of improvement. It may not seem like much, there are a lot of worse things to have, but it's really annoying .

the cats are outside cats--but i figured with every one running in and out the dander is getting on me--they also have an inside dog but he has to go potty--the reason they keep the cats is behind their house is rattle snakes and the cats run them out--you just cant win
