Does any take a daily probiotic?

My doctor prescribed Fortify a few years ago for some stomach discomfort. I eventually stopped taking it but forgot why.

I've had some issues with feeling bloated lately and having GERD that has made me nauseous, so I bought some more Fortify. I took it for two days and this morning it was if I had prepped for a colonoscopy!:( It certainly cleared me out, but that's not what I was expecting.

Does anyone else take a probiotic and if so, what has your experience been?

I eat yogurt pretty regularly, especially in the summer with fresh fruit.

And I like drinking Smart Water. It sounded silly when I first saw the bottles in the food market (water/soda section) but I tried it, and it's delicious, and contains probiotics.

My wife was having digestion problems. Nothing really bad just uncomfortable. She read up on the topic & decided to order this.

And this per manufactures suggestion.
Inulin Prebiotic Pure Powder, Certified Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, Intestinal Support*, 1-Pound

Probiotic to make it work is Equate 50 billion 10 strain.

My job was to figure out how it works. Great instructional video & really really easy.

The video calls for making a paste out of 2 tablespoons of Inulin 1 capsule of probiotic. Didn't work to good for me but this did. I dissolved 2 tablespoons of Inulin 1 capsule of probiotic in about 2 ounces of warm water whisked that into 48 ounces of 1/2 & 1/2. Don't need the 36 hours just 20 hours & really great home made yogurt. Been experimenting with flavors Vanilla, banana, strawberry, peach, almond, anise. no favorites.

Wifes issue gone. Probably more than needed to know, my flatulence is minimal & NO ODOR

I do take a probiotic...but not consistently. It does what I want it to do.
I also like the sound of yours, I may give it a try when I'm done w/Garden of Life Primal Defense Ultra ....it's costly compared to Fortify.

Whenever I decide to take any supplements, I always try small dose (usually half of the suggested dosage). If I feel any discomfort I stop and don't bother. The supplements maybe good for others but not for my body. My body tells me so.

I have IBS, and probiotics didn't help me. Neither did yogurt. Well cooked vegetables are fine, but not too many raw vegetables; avoiding red meat and not having large meals at night, drinking plenty of water, and keeping a consistent schedule on going to bed and getting up, all helps me, but still there will be off days now and then.

Yes, my doctor recommended taking probiotics a few years ago...I tried several different ones and the only one that helped me was Florastor.
It too is expensive, so I may try Fortify too.
