Does Anybody read Old Moore's Almanac

I never heard of it, Mike. Looked it up. It's astonishing that the Irish almanac has been published annually since 1764!

I have read Farmer's Almanac many times over the years, which is an American publication. It's been going since 1818.

The publications share some similarities, but Old Moore's Almanac sounds much more diverse. I'd love to see a copy.

I’ve heard about Old Moore’s Almanac, but never took a proper look — sounds like it’s worth reading.
I’ll try to get my hands on the 2024 version — thanks for the tip!

Amazon sells Old Moore's Almanac, but maybe not
where you are.

The link that I included in the 2024 version, the new
one for, 2025 is on sale now.

Check out Amazon, they sell it in Ireland, where it is
published, I do think that it will be sold in the USA.

It has been published since 1697!

yes this is the usual one.... £4.25...have you seen what they're charging for the Irish one ?..£6.90....robbery....

I've got a little traditional newsagents near where I live... it sells only newspapers, and magazines and tobacco ( no food or anythig like all other newsagents seems to now) ... they sell all the papers and magazines the supermarkets don't sell like the Stage, or Old Moores etc.. so I might pick one up next time I'm over there

I think that you will find that it is €6.90, not all keyboards
have the €€€€€€€€ symbol, you get it by holding Alt Gr
down and the number 4 at the top of the keyboard, not
the numbers pad.

No Mike ..it's both it's £6.90 , and 6.90 Euros..look at the cover (y)...so the Irish get it for the equivelent of £5.79 pence while the UK pays £6.90
