Does anyone else build model cars

As a young spud, I built a bunch. Just recently, I started trying to build models of some of the wife's many race cars. I have roughed them in, but, it's hard trying to duplicate all these cars since back then, we used parts of many different cars, so now I have to buy a lot of models in order to get the right pieces. That and my shaky hand and crummy eyesight makes it hard to letter them.
Oh well, something to do on rainy days.

I remember when a local TV station did a promotion for car kit builders (Model cars only) and the response was MASSIVE. They had 3000 entries and turned down 5000 more!

Sadly, they never did it again. That could have been a ongoing thing for the young, and young at heart.
