Does Anyone Have Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Along with a couple of other Medical Inconveniences I have now been diagnosed with RA. Although it's not curable it is treatable. Fortunately for me I have no pain at this point, but OH MY ---those first few steps getting out of bed in the morning is murder. I walk around my apartment for 10 minutes until the stiff legs loosen up and go for a long walk after breakfast. The stiff legs in the morning is symptomatic of early stage RA. I am not looking forward to it progressing.

My mother had RA. I know how badly she felt some days, especially in the morning. She too, walked a lot to work it out. I don't imagine you are looking forward to it progressing.

My husband has osteoarthritis in his hip. The Dr. calls it wear and tear arthritis. He's miserable in the morning and late at night, if he's over done himself during the day.

Hmmm, I didn't know that, I have daily stiff legs(plus stiff back) for about the first 10 minutes after getting up. I have been experiencing some 'borderline' arthritic type symptoms for the last several years, but testing my RA factor shows negative.

I don't know if mine's arthritis. I've had aches and pains for the past 23 years, I know some are due to a ruptured lumbar disc from 1993, and others from horsey falls and stuff, but the problem with my knee, and my ankles, I'm not sure if that's just the positions I sit in sometimes or something else.

But yeah, aches and pains pretty much all over, off and on.
