Does anyone know what this is ?

I have seen a lot of these Grids on poles in my city and on the roads. No one I have asked knows why they are there or what they do. I have seen them on light pole after light pole . Does anyone know what they are used for. Sorry this one is Bent.

It's a reflector, for safety purposes.

It's a reflector so that drivers won't crash into the poles and cause power outages.
