does anyone use irc (internet relay chat)

the irc or mirc (internet relay chat) is very good for one on one chats. there are many different rooms (many are not english) and many have a pure sex theme.
however there are many for older seniors and many have found they can play music in their particular channel.....I frequent a channel 40+chatters.

I remember IRC from a long, long time ago. I have dyslexia, so typing isn't easy for me. I'm really slow. By the time I could type an answer, it was 5 topics ago. It was cool for its time.
