Does anyone wear white after Labor Day?

That reminds me! i once saw Pat Boone and his entourage enter a building. All his men had white shoes! Sorry, but I couldn't help but laugh!

They were wearing white bucks and it had to be after Easter or before Labor Day! šŸ˜„

White bucks with a seersucker suits ...if you watch the Kentucky Derby, you'll see the look!

I rarely if ever wear white, but if I did, I would wear it whenever I wanted to, regardless of a holiday or season. Honestly, although I've hears that saying repeated numerous times in my lifetime, I never knew anyone who took it seriously.
That's how I grew up.

No white after Labor Day until Memorial Day. After Labor Day you wore the aforementioned winter white which was usually a woolen or a wool blend or heavier synthetic knits for a coat or a blazer or even slacks.

I don't think many people adhere to this anymore.

I've never been a fan of wearing white pants or skirts at any time of year. As for white shoes (except sneakers), I've never really worn them either -- they get grungy too fast and white shoes also always made my feet look like gunboats. I already have big feet and I never wanted them to look any bigger!

I don't wear white pants, skirts, or dresses. I do like white blouses though. I was brain washed by my grandmother that people could see my privates (mostly my bum) if I wore white. How times have changed.

I wore a pair of awesome white denim (hip huggers) once or twice after she passed! lol I bet she was turning in her grave.
I have absolutely no idea why, but white jeans on a woman, drives men wild. :giggle:

Little Miss Boring here. Have really never paid too much attention to that rule of white.
Have only had and worn a couple summer tops years back, i knitted them myself, using cotton yarn.
No white to be found in my closet at any season.
