UPS bought the company that I worked for when I was 52. Their criteria for remaining was simple. The manager from the nearby UPS depot was 41. I was 52. He, by all accounts, was a square peg in a round hole. No matter, I was 52, good grief, that's one foot in the grave. The square peg was chosen and I was paid off. It bruised my ego I must admit but not for long after hearing of the pig's ear that the square peg made of merging the two depots.I sure feel like it some mornings (and afternoons and evenings).
Hello from Tennessee and thanks for being here, very informative site.
I have lurked for a few weeks and its time to join.
Still working but I can see retirement from where I am.
If AARP is sending you solicitations to join, then you are a senior.Does being 61 make me a Senior?
