I like long daylight hours and warm to hot weather. I was telling my friend that I would like to spend a couple of weeks in Florida next month. I never knew he owned a house down there until he he told me had a place along the Gulf coast up for sale and I was welcome to it anytime I wanted it. I told him I may take him up on that for a couple of weeks.

No, time is going so much faster than I'd like. I only got the cardboard boxes from gifts I received smashed flat today and took them down to the cardboard recycling container. There are still a few windows that I can see haven't taken down their holiday lights, but all the wreaths in my hallway are gone now. I brought my Valentine's Day kitchen towel out today, and will pack up the Hanukkah towel til next year.

My wife got out of the house yesterday for the first time this year. We had covid, my reaction to it was no more than a heavy, miserable cold, but it laid her low, frighteningly so. About a week ago we both tested negative but given how poorly my lady was we went a week rather than the recommended 48 hours, our second test was negative. She enjoyed being out, definitely a long month!
