Does Your Fridge Make ICE?

Once upon a time I had a refrig that made ice. I guess that was aback in the beginning. It never worked as it should all one summer. It froze up. No matter my settings it froze up. It went back for repairs a couple of times never worked satisfactorally. I fin ally ask it be taken out. Like i say that was back in the beginning of ice cubes. I've not had one since. The fridge itself lasted so long we got tired of looking at it. aWe left it when we moved. Now, unless we have company, I don't use ice cubes. I'm a hot tea drinker.

My grandson learned to operate the water/ice maker on the fridge door shortly after he learned to walk....you can imagine that there was always a puddle on the floor, they probably could have done surgery on that floor it was pretty clean.
This is the same little devil that locked his mom in the cellar and thought he was pretty funny!

No, my fridge doesn't have an ice-maker, I don't like them and wouldn't use it much. Even my old ice cube tray has been in the cabinet for years now, just haven't had a need for it.

I have something in common with Goldilocks in that I don't like anything too hot or too cold including drinks and never like ice in them. I've heard that the British don't like their drinks cold either. Anyone know if this is true?

I'm with you on this -- I don't like ice cold drinks either. I am not sure about the British, but we lived in Germany for 10 years and the only places I ever saw ice cubes were the mess halls and clubs on military installations. That was back in the 70s-80s so maybe it has changed.
