I showed one of my dogs many years ago as a puppy. I went to a local conformation class that taught us and our dogs how to show. We all put our dogs in a stand stay in different areas around the room. We all had to go up to each other's dogs and examine them, looking at their teeth, feeling their heads, neck, chest legs, etc. They worked it so that the dog's owner was near and watching, to correct the dog if he moved or misbehaved. It was an experience, but show life is not for me and didn't want that for my furkid.I'm surprised the dogs don't freak out, being touched by strangers.
