I've always joked I hate when my Monday falls on a Friday... I start 4, 12 hour nights tonight...
Well this morning started with finding our Pup JD had died sometime during the night...
He was laid in his normal spot under the camper, appears to have died in his sleep
JD was for Juvenal Delinquent for the crap he was always getting into as a pup..
He would have turned 14 on thanksgiving this year. He was still active and
energetic last night, but had lost a bunch of weight over the last year.
Scrappy, his litter mate and is the last of our dogs.
We have had at least one dog since we first started living together 36 years ago.

So sorry Medic! Yes, they are family.
I hope you can comfort Scrappy and get to feeling better soon.

So sorry for your loss Old Medic.. , R.I.P JD as you cross over to the Rainbow bridge...

Dogs are absolutely 100 % part of the family, it's heartbreaking when you lose one, we've lost 3 oldies in the last 18 months.. heart wrenching..

Your little scrappy is going to wander around the house looking for JD for a long time...

Sorry for your loss... yes, pets in general are family. My dog passed just before Christmas (2019), she was 18 years old. That last year was a hard one for my immediate family. My cat is the same age so I bless whatever days we have left together.

So sorry for the loss of your beloved dog. So difficult.
R.I.P. puppy, you’re not an old man up there, running and raising Cain with your buddies.😢

Dogs are most definitely family. They are our heart's companion. I'm sorry for your loss medic, but it sounds like he passed peacefully and without pain. Be sure to give Scrappy some extra loves, he will be grieving too.
