Doing a sleep study tonight...in home

I just got home from picking up my equipment to do an in home sleep study tonight. Hope I can sleep with it on me. He gave me specific instructions for attaching the device to me. Has anyone here had a sleep study?
I return the equipment tomorrow. Today I went to place, called from my car and they brought it out to me. Tomorrow same thing, I call and they come out to get it back.

A friend had a sleep study done, in-lab. She said that she was so concerned the device would come unattached, that she barely slept.

Hope it goes better for you.
 
When I did one, I was worried that the equipment would come off too. Then the darn thing malfunctioned in the middle of the night. I kept thinking it was me and kept trying to readjust it. Got absolutely no sleep. Was given a new monitor and of course had no problems sleeping, because I was so tired from the night before.

This was nothing like the tests my DD did at an actual clinic. She was hooked up everywhere. It that was me, they’d get tired of resetting it every time I needed to go to the washroom.

i had one with a device that was like a watch. it took a little longer to get to sleep but i got there. just follow the instructions. you'll be fine.
 
Well, I did it last night. The machine was easy enough to hook up. Did not sleep well, but hope I got enough sleep in to get a good reading. Returned the machine early this morning, came home, had breakfast and lay down and slept for about 5 more hours.
Now I am back from Urgent Care ( they know me by name now) as I have yet another UTI. Glad I am going to a urologist in a cuple weeks. This is nuts
