Dollar General's first hour for seniors only, locations to begin closing an hour early

Dollar General announced that starting on Tuesday, the first hour of shopping will only be open to seniors. The company also announced that locations will begin closing an hour earlier to give employees a chance to clean and restock.

The announcement comes as store shelves nationally are running low of some supplies amid concerns of the spread of coronavirus.

I like it and saw on the news this idea is spreading fast. HEB in Houston I believe is letting 25 people in then 25 more, etc. I have yet to see the crazy long lines we see on TV.

I think Stop 'n Shop is instituting this too, but won't help me as due to physical conditions, there's barely a way for me to get up and get moving so early. I'm at my "best", if there is such a thing, in the afternoon.

Some mornings really are rough, aren't they? Even doctor's appointment makers don't understand that . As for the stores, I still appreciate the effort.
