Dollar stores raising their prices again.

There is a Dollar Store attached to the local grocery store I go to and they balance themselves out. However the dollar store has become dingy and dirty (floors haven't seen a mop in months) with blocked isles. It used to be very clean, organized and well stocked. I only in now for cleaning and hygiene supplies with are still cheaper than anywhere else.
Have you been to Macy's lately? :ROFLMAO: We were walking through one in a "lower tier" mall a few days ago. The tile was mismatched and some was clearly from the 80's. The carpets hadn't been vacuumed for days. Even some of our iconic stores are feeling the pinch these days and it shows.

Almost everything they sell is imported, so with tariffs up, we all knew prices would go up at some point.

Dollar Tree is still a huge bargain. I mainly buy ibuprofen there and pay 1,000% less than at Walmart....that's for a major brand like Motrin. Being real, I save over 50% compared to Walmart's store brand, and I save at least 60% on my B vitamin energy shots. If those prices go up as much as 30-40%, it's still a bargain.
The problem with their generic motrin, tylenol etc is the pill count keeps dropping. Their generics usually had 24 to 30 pills now it tends to be 10-20. I found by luck some of the European discount supermarkets will sell 100 count generic motrin or tylenol under $2.00. Struggling to find buys on generic benadryls.
