Dolly Parton is NOT dead.

My ex spends a lot of time posting items on Facebook. I don't know why buy I clicked on to her stuff. I came across a video of Dolly Parton in hospital bed with IVs. She was extremely withered and looked almost gone. The video said she passed away. I'm not a county music lover, but I do like Parton, as a person.
THEN, I found out she was still alive. If you saw that video, you would be convinced she passed away. It must be eerie having a realistic death video if you're famous. And with such realistic manipulation, you can create anything-real or not so as to be believable.

tis is the bad side of Al.. and it's only going to get worse and even more realstic...

I've never joined Facebook, but I use YouTube all the time and they have a new thing of making little short videos with titles like, "Princess Diana Walking." Then we see someone who looks a lot like her, but with a totally different hour-glass body, in a dress I'm sure she never owned. It's creepy.

Fake news has become real.

Why I don’t have social media accounts.

FWIW, I just saw Dolly Parton, IN REAL TIME, on the local news last night, Friday.

She was promoting her new musical show on her life. Tickets are on sale BTW, if you want to come to Nashville.

She looked as gorgeous as ever and was as “with it” as ever.

@Della summed it up when she said “fake news has become real”. Yes. I’m afraid. It has😡

QUOTE:

”Dolly Parton’s career is nothing short of extraordinary. Still topping the charts well into her seventh decade of success, Dolly has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, is an inductee in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and is Billboard’s #1 Country Artist of All Time. With over 3,000 songs written and twenty-five #1 hits, Dolly has firmly cemented her place in music history. But how did this “Backwoods Barbie” rise to become a Living Legend?"

Tickets for the Nashville performances are on sale now at www.dollymusical.com.”

Red carpet to kick off debut of Dolly Parton’s musical in Nashville

I am sorry to be so in-depth with this, but this fake news crap really pisses me off🤬

I liked her best in the 1980s when she was in her 40s and had a TV show for a couple of years. Here's a short clip from one of them. She often closed the show with this song, then said "Bye, bye, and winked."

I like her songs. She has a very good voice and still does for being 79.

I saw a video clip of her being on the Carson show. Before she had her breast reduction surgery, Johnny said he would give a week’s pay to have a peek down the top of her dress. It was hilarious with Carson saying it and she accepted it very well. She laughed like everyone else.
