Don’t forget! This Sunday, Nov 6th, turn clock back 1 hour.

If you live in WA, OR or CA, have they said that your state will be switching to year round DST? BC said they’d be doing it when all of these states change. It was announced as happening here and now things seem quiet.

It's Spring Forward, Fall Back.
It is dark in the morning when I take my son to his work; tomorrow will be better.
If it is decided that we will not be changing the clocks to Daylight Savings Time in March 2023, it will be fine by me. Either way, I am retired so I don't mind.

Back when i was able to care for pets, it took quite a while to get the cats reset to DST. Still wanted to be fed at 6 or 7 am when it had become 5 or 6 to me. Very vocal and demanding Then in the spring, “Ho hum. Why are you up so early Mom?” But either way I like it when the actual length of sunshine starts to get longer bit by bit after the winter solstice.

I used to change the batteries in my smoke alarm\& CO2 monitor, but they now all have 10 year life spans. I changed the****** clocks-all 8 of them. 3 are pendulum clocks and have to be releveled. Then there were 11 timers on everything from the furnace to outside lights alarms, etc. This is no longer 1918 and our doughboys came back from WWI France over a hundred years ago. The war effort is kind of over. Why do we keep doing this, when everybody knows it's utter nonsense. (Yes, I'm ranting. Thank you for listening.)

Thank you GLady. My phone and tablet are set to change automatically. Then I change my one digital clock.
