Done my Referendum duty this morning.

Walked to the polling place.
The law states no one to wear apparel displaying yes/no writing.
On the way in, Both sides of the walkway displayed corflutes with yes/no.
For some reason people were handing out how to vote leaflets.
Simple yes or no. Why the need for how to vote leaflets?
 

I voted on the Referendum a couple of weeks ago. I was amazed to see how many people didn't know how to vote. There is a huge ethic population where I live and I'm sure many of these people haven't been naturalised Australians. One couple in front of me stood there for a few minutes whilst their names were being taken down. I don't think they could even speak English; they were eventually taken aside so the voting could be continued. I said to my friend I wonder if they know what the referendum is all about. And how could they vote upon giving the Indigenous people a Voice to Parliament?..
