When I call a company, like my health insurance, and ask a very simple question, then have to start all over, going into great detail because they "don't get it," and even then, nothing is resolved.
I have a PPO Medicare advantage plan and was disturbed because they sent a replacement insurance card, naming my PCP on it, when the original card did not. I was concerned that if he was out of the office and I needed to see a different doctor in the practice, it could be a problem with my insurance.
After 3 people and over an hour on the phone, my question was never answered. I had to go downtown and get the senior advocate for Medicare patients to get this fixed, and she did. I finally got a new card like the first, without a doctor's name on it.
