It will be interesting to see what happens next, oftentimes when an index hits a significant milestone or breaks through some sort of imaginary barrier the market continues to surge ahead for no good reason.
Just wondering if there will be profit taking on Monday?
People that are still working and investing in a 401(k) should be happy with their results.
We are happy with our IRA’s and Roth IRA’s.
IMO, I think mortgage rates for home buyers are still too high. I believe rates will drop in the second or third quarter, if the economy stays as it is. In my area, inventory of homes for sale are small for median priced homes. Even homes that are above $500k are available, but the quantity is low. My area has been fortunate that I live in a desirable area for families with school age children. We have 22 high schools in my area and several of them are either new or have been updated for modernization purposes.

Glad to see big corporations are raking in the profits! I guess eliminating jobs through the use of AI and getting huge tax cuts in the BBB are doing them good!
