When I was a baby, my mom used to lay a couple of blankets down on the rear floor-well of the car, plunk me down on the blankets, and off my folks would go to the drive-in.

Tried the same with my oldest and decided that an in-house babysitter was best. LOL!

Anyhow, when we used to go to the drive-in (my teen years), we could tune into the drive-in on the car radio, meaning quality stereo sound.

Gosh, the drive-in stories I could tell!

True; we've got a drive-in again after all these years because of Covid; I hope it does well. We'll probably never use it but I bet it's the only way some families can make it to the movies.

I heard that drive in movies became popular with teenage lovebirds because regular theaters only had so many seats in the back row and drive in's meant that they could watch the movie in private and talk about stuff. Don't know how true this was. Just sayin.
