A driver in an N95 mask they had worn for several hours straight passed out and crashed their car. No sign of drugs and it' is theorized too much cO2 had built up.

If they were one of these people that didn' so much as crack the car window that wouldn't have helped either. This is going to get worse especially as temperatures increase.

I do not find that N-95 masks restrict my breathing at all. I doubt that wearing a mask would cause someone to pass out, at least not without additional contributing factors. But, they can be very warm inside since exhaled air really has nowhere to go, and the escaping moisture tends to fog up my glasses.

I have the same problem with foggy glasses. See if this helps. Keep scrolling past the ads to finish the article.

I have problems with foggy glasses and breathing with the mask on. I have two masks, I ordered a third which sounds good, but it hasn't arrived yet. One of my two masks is slightly better, probably because it's more porous, which I suppose means it doesn't work as well.
