Driving in India

Now that is just a beaoootiful thing to watch. Thank you Micheal, I'll remember that next time I venture onto the highway!

Looked at a few of the others, they are worth a look too. .... Now I'll watch the ones from Beijing...

This one has passed our way many times in the past.

Fancy a little easy driving in India?

What bothers me about that video is that they come to our country(ies) and continue to drive like that on our roads and freeways... and I'm not singling out people from India by that comment. .. it is just that there is too much bizarre, 'anything goes' driving on the roads everywhere.

And I've heard it's exactly like that....I'm such a nervous Nellie on wild & crazy highways, and there are many more than just India. All the Asian and mid-Eastern streets seem like death zones, tho lots are on bicycles, from what I've seen on film. It would take an entire bottle of that peppered Russian Vodka to get me in a car there. There have to be 100+ wrecks a day, pure insanity!!!

The Autobahn in Germany wasn't exactly comfortable for me, but I wasn't driving and it was nothing at all compared to this video.

The Charlotte NASCAR stadium/track/whatever you call it is less than 30 min from here (unless it's race wk-end, then it's a 3 hr drive) and tho they may be going close to 200 mph, it's far safer than the countries with no rules or regulations and 0 ability to drive safely.

Anyone driven in Russia ??

Incredible footage and very sad for the many who have to travel on black ice, especially in tunnels w/no chance of melting quickly. Geez, it was one right after the other. You couldn't pay me enough to drive/ride on an icy road, but southerners are known for being paralyzed with a 1/2" of snow. Without one bit of exaggeration, our entire city shuts down with less than 1" of snow. I know northerners laugh their bums off at us.
