Glad to hear someone else shares the interest! Somewhere waaaay back like at least a year and a half ago, I did a thread here on Pripyat... nothing has fascinated me like that city in a long time.
Okay, this is funny.
I looked up my old Pripyat post (I see now it's more than 2 years... Jan '23!!) because I remember someone mentioned angelfire back then, too, and wanted to see who it was. It was YOU! 
And yes, I've seen it!

Good question, Papa... wish I knew the answer. No matter where it came from *everyone* in that region must know how deadly it could be for a whole lot more than Ukraine.
There is no reason to be fearful at this time.
It ended when we could drink legally.
I worked with a Russian woman back in the day of the Chernobyl disaster. A month or two later she traveled to that area saying it's all cleaned up no problem. She was trying to prove something to her cheating husband. The company was bought out and I never saw her again but I have wondered.
You could travel to the area after it was sealed up.
