Don't be a burden to your children. Do what's best for them even if it inconveniences you.My daughter and family (after living in California for 2 years) now lives 1 hour away; my 2 sons live in the UK. (I am in western Canada).
I thought it was great when all three decided to live/work out of country, Now the presssure is on my daughter to look after "mom". I am considering moving closer to my daughter but after 40 years in this house, I am very reluctant to make a change.
That's got to be hard.My Son is about 2500 miles in one direction and my daughter is about 2500 miles in the other direction.
