Drugs can cause Hearing Loss

I just found an interesting article in the latest AARP newsletter. It appears that many of the drugs...both prescription and over the counter...can damage the inner ear, and cause hearing loss. I guess this can be added to the ton's of Side Effects from drugs.

I'm surprised it has taken this long for the AARP to publish such "news."

I have known about this for more than a decade, having experienced it with my own mother and her doctors. I would think this is common knowledge these days.
