DST Starts Sunday at 2 a.m.

I am SO happy ! I love Daylight Savings Time, and it sounds like it might come under discussion again about keeping it permanently. This happened once (at least) before, but it didn’t make it; so I am hoping that this time the government will decide to leave us on one time year around, and that it will be DST, so we have the longer daylight in the evenings.

Yvonne our lot have the same discussion every single year and it never changes back....so I wouldn't hold your breath if were you...

Something interesting .... all states can stay on Standard time, and never change clocks again, like Arizona and Hawaii, with just State Government approval.

.... but 'Daylight Savings Time' requires The Department of Transportation (Washington) approval.
That is the big difference, and the big hang-up..

So, if we are really tired of changing clocks back and forth, we could all go to Standard Time on a state by state basis much easier and quicker.
Just a thought.:)

People tend to think that most of a year is Standard Time. In fact, Daylight Saving Time is the majority at almost 8 months.
