Eagle's Guitarist Glenn Frey Passes at 67

Wow, we're losing our music icons left right and sideways...a shock.

So sad, hubby and I were talking about how many of the artists we grew up (and old) listening to have passed on. RIP Glenn.

It's soo Sad....Dale Griffin the founder member and drummer of Mott The Hoople has also died, aged just 67. (R.I.P) The ironic thing is that their biggest hit was All the Young Dudes, written and gifted to them by David Bowie.


With David, Dale, and Glenn gone from this Mortal Coil this week...it's almost like someone in Heaven is creating the best Rock Band ever...

I read in a magazine one time that Glen Frey and Don Henley always argued over who was going to sing the lead for certain songs. It stated that this was the reason for their breakup. I would imagine that drugs and alcohol also played a part in their lives.

I saw a more recent picture of Frey and his arms were bone, I saw little or no muscle tone there at all. I too wonder about the long term affects of some of the partying all these rock stars did from the 60s on.

Sounds to me that prescription drugs for his Rheumatoid Arthritis and the side effects are what killed him. Many die from the negative results of pharmaceuticals, but it's not very much in the spotlight.
