What do you use to clean eyeglasses?

C. Wash with soap and water then I dry with the clothes the optician provides. My eyelashes touch the lens so I’m cleaning lots. Besides my regular glasses, I have three pairs of readers on the go.

I know but I have very long lashes because of the meds I use. Also I’m forever adjusting the glasses as they slip down so they rub against the lashes.
Before I got old, my eyelashes were very long and used to touch the lenses of my glasses. I sure wasn't going to trim my lashes. Now my dog has the longest lashes I've ever seen on a dog (a trait of the breed), and I do trim them so he can see. Luckily, he doesn't wear glasses.

I bought new glasses about 3 months ago. The technician told me to only use the single use prepackaged wipes as a last resort as they can eventually wear off any protective coating. I had been using the wipes often and noticed that was happening on my old glasses.
Now I only use the cloth and the spray solution that came with the glasses. Tech said the solution has no alcohol.
Also, Dawn detergent was recommended.

Mama uses those individually wrapped wet lens wipe thingies and I just mostly use whatever is handy........like a damp towel when I get done drying off after showering or maybe my sweat rag or t-shirt tail when I'm outside doing something and sweating up a storm.

I turn on the tap water and wet them. Then I soap up my hands with hand soap and wash the lenses and the frames too. The frames get buildup of sweat etc. Then I rinse the glasses and hands under the running water and blot dry with a paper towel.
