The community egg hunt went well. By well I mean quick, even though there's only 7 kids living here. We held a memorial for Big Mama and that went better than I expected (quick). The tenants wanted to release balloons but I'm somewhat conscientious about the environment. Hated the thought of somebody's dog or whatever choking on the broken remains of one of Big Mama's balloons. So I said they could tie ribbons on one of the trees. I preferred passing the whiskey around, but the parents of those under the age of twelve didn't care for that idea.
It was all over within a couple of hours. Awesome. Next week I'm going to a beach for a couple of days with a buddy of mine to take a deep breath, play some golf and do some surfing. I have a dry-suit for if the water is too cold. Which it probably is.
