Electric bill shot up from last month

My usage actually went down, but my bill increased by over $50! I compared the two statements. Maybe someone that understands these things can explain it. Last month's bill first, this month's bill below that.

That 'someone' would be the electric company... give them a call!

Without seeing the whole thing, it is tough to say, but it looks like you were charged $65.35 for 196 KWH one month.
Then you were charged $115.80 for 385 KWH the next month.
Use more, pay more.

You should call your power company and ask them why the Electric Delivery Charge increased and why the electric supply charge doubled.

of course all that increase led to a bigger tax amount.

Can't get through. Put on hold for 20 minutes and gave up. Probably everyone else calling about it.

Mine went down. It was only $49.22. I get a credit for signing up with a solar energy company.
