Okay then, I'm giving the solve to you!The US is 110, outside the US is 220 is common.
Thanks, Gaer! That was a good one Marg! kept us guessing!
One of those funny cards we see in novelty stores reads: "Electricians remove your shorts."
Typically, either 110-volt AC (110V) or 220-volt AC (220V) is used. Most countries use 50Hz (50 Hertz or 50 cycles per second) as their AC frequency. Only a handful use 60Hz. The standard in the United States is 120V and 60Hz AC electricity.Feb 13, 2016Okay folks, that's enough pain for you.
So before I get to the solve, last night before bed I presented this riddle to my husband, who casted a series of guesses before hitting upon the solve - 120.
When I told hubs that nobody managed to guess the solve to the riddle here, dear husband mentioned a little something that threw me, that being 110.
He wasn't sure if 110 is used in the USofA, and if it is, then I the solve goes to Jujube, however, here in Canada, standard power is 120, hence the answer to the riddle.
Can anyone clarify for me what the standard power is in the USofA? Is it 110 or 120?
Thanks for this, Needshave.Typically, either 110-volt AC (110V) or 220-volt AC (220V) is used. Most countries use 50Hz (50 Hertz or 50 cycles per second) as their AC frequency. Only a handful use 60Hz. The standard in the United States is 120V and 60Hz AC electricity.Feb 13, 2016
