Eliminate one thing - question

This does compete with wars and human suffering, but waiting. Waiting in lines that hardly move. Waiting for hours on the Interstate. Waiting in a doctor's office for a ten minute visit @ 1:40, and it 3:15.
My dad once walked out on a doctor who was keeping him waiting too long. This was back in the 1970's. Dad said to the receptionist to have the doctor call him to reschedule when he actually had time for his patients. I was so proud of dad for doing that. He said what so many people would have liked to.

Fear--it is at the root of many of the things named here--hatred (fear of the 'other') greed (fear of not having 'enough') jealousy (fear of 'losing' someone's love to another or that they love the other person 'more') you get the idea.

While i sometimes say 'fear has it's uses' that's because i know a lot of people hang the fear label on what i think of as having a healthy, realistic respect for the forces of nature, the things that can be in certain circumstances a threat to one's well-being.
