EMF's Electric Magnetic Fields and Smart Meter Controversy

Does anyone suspect that they have any health issues related to EMF's and Smart Meters? I have been doing a bit of reading and study on this and find it very interesting.

Only what I heard over the years, Lon. I remember hearing that one should not live near, or under, high tension wires. It is said that one family had an increase in cancer by living under wires. I'm not aware of any way that it has effected me.

I've only heard anecdotal evidence as well, Lon. Nothing concrete ...

I think it's a problem but I can't prove it Lon. I don't like it that I have my computer, printer, modem, wifi router, ele telephone, TV, DVD player and stereo all in my bedroom. No wonder I can't sleep at night. I know when the microwave is on and I'm on one of these cordless phones standing in the kitchen it makes a lot of buzzing on the phone. Plus we have a smart meter out front and my husband has a CB radio in his shop. There used to be an elderly lady living up the road who slept with her head at the foot of her bed so it would be further away from the electric wires in her wall. Oh yeah, we have the fuse/breaker box in our bedroom wall too. God only knows what sort of invisible waves or whatever you call them are going through our house. That's why we sleep better when we are camping. In 20 years, at the most, I bet I'm dead.

Look at it the other way... the increasing use of MRI scanners in hospitals to diagnose illnesses, Sat-Nav in cars to stop us getting lost, internet to allow us to work away from the office etc In fact loads of things that are improving our lives - AND - the average life expectancy is rising. Many of the health issues today are caused by obesity, sugar, tobacco, alcohol etc - nothing to do with electric fields. I still wouldn't like to live under a high voltage cable - in case it fell on my house during a storm.

We are surrounded by varying levels of EMF...virtually every electrical or electronic device we use emits some level of EMF. There is increasing concern that those who walk around all day with their cell phone in their ear might be doing some long term damage to their brain tissue...and judging by the way some of those people act, that could be a Real possibility.
