End of an era...Pat Sajak retires

I was going to post about this. I didn't watch the show unless I was at my mother's house and she had it on. I remember my grandmother thought Pat was the cutest thing. :love: I wish him the best in the next chapter of his life.
 
I wasn’t a die hard fan but when I did watch the show I enjoyed it. Pat was always kind and respectful to his contestants and to Vanna. I think Ryan Seacrest will make an excellent replacement.

I stayed up late to watch ‘what I thought’ was the last show but it wasn’t. Thanks for posting the link @Paco Dennis. I’m all teary eyed now from watching the final goodbyes. There’s definitely lots of love there.

His daughter replaced Vanna which I thought was so sweet when she called him dad.
 
Watched Pat's final show last night. My wife has watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune since Luke and Laura were a 'thing' on General Hospital.
