Well 2 weeks later and I'm able to limp around unassisted, still some sharp stabbing rib pain, but defiantly improved.
Out of work for 2 more weeks. Sucks that I'm off and cant do much around the house.

UPDATE...... I fell 6 weeks ago today... and I managed to finish the job today, with no additional injuries.
Now I can get started on the roof.
I still have some pain and mobility issues, but am back at work.

Glad you are better! Having had an active life probably helped in not making it worse. I swear, working on heights must be habit forming for some guys. My Dad was a civil engineer who walked on high beams a lot of his work life, and even in his late 70s-early 80s couldn’t keep him off tall ladders and our house roof.

55 foot deep hand dug.... I personally know how cold a well diggers azz is....
