England is Running Out of Beer!

So is Russia, but for different reasons I think. Russia has probably never encountered so many beer drinkers, their own people drink large amounts of Vodka, not ale. This Country has run low on "Food Grade" Carbon Dioxide which is a critical component of brewing beer, more about moving it around the hundreds of miles of pipes than in the actual manufacture. I think, but I know not a lot about brewing beer commercially. Story Here Cash and Carry sales are being rationed. Mike.

British baking giant Warburton's has been forced to pause production of crumpets at two of its factories amid the ongoing carbon dioxide (CO2) crisis. The UK's largest producer of crumpets had no choice but to halt output after it ran out of the gas, which it uses in its packaging to extend the shelf life of the product.
