Entire N.C. Police Department Resigns After Black Female Town Manager Hired

IMO, It’s sad that we allow this type of clickbait, disguised as news, to divide us.

Maybe some day we’ll live in a world where the headlines won’t specify gender and race in what appears to be a dispute between labor and management.
Whatever reenforces divide gets a headline.

Nothing about what the 7 employees will do to earn a living now that they no longer draw a paycheck from the town with only 1500 residents.

It is definitely challenging to men because it upsets the status quo where they have generally had the system tailored to their liking.
When I began my working life women were few and far between. The engineering school didn't even have women's restrooms.

All that change whilst I was working. I have to confess at first it was uncomfortable and I had some problems adapting. But that didn't last long, in the last couple of decades there were more and more women and women in supervisory and management positions.

By the second half of my career it did not bother me a bit, times change... I worked for as many women as men, and got on equally well.
