My numbness started after 'pain'. The old Neurologist told me it's because of Scoliosis, but the current Neurologist told me due to 'Stenosis' by looking at X-ray.My motivation for treatment is for numbness in my feet and legs, and not so much for pain, which I guess is much more common. Maybe numbness is more difficult, in bringing back sensation, if even possible. I don't know, I'm new at this. I do have chronic pain in my upper back/left shoulder, at some point I may seek treatment for that.
So, I really don't know which numbness causing, but with Gabapentin and Tramadol do the job, ... not in perfect, but about 75% in range.
In my guess, once getting older, there might be not much can done, ... like Cancer on today's medical intervention. I can live with numbness staying home, not much walking outside and driving, .. just in 15 minutes' drive. If some shopping needed, I plan to use 'Walker' or 'Cane.'
