Erie County, in Western NY bringing back masks

Because of so many new cases, Erie County, in Western NY State is bringing back mask mandate inside buildings starting tomorrow, the 31st.

IMO that's the right thing to do.

I'm approx. 150 miles east of you and we are still in good shape but the numbers are increasing. So far the county executive is focusing on increased testing and increased vaccinations.

I'm not sure why he is reluctant to implement an indoor mask mandate.

IMO it's a very simple commonsense precaution.

I'm still wearing a mask indoors and I'm very interested in the possibility of a Covid booster as well as the traditional flu shot.

I'm willing to do whatever it takes to manage the risk.
