Ever have one of those days where you feel everyone is staring at you?

- So how about it everybody, ever have days where you feel everyone is critiquing you?

- Like as if you have three eyes or two butts?

- Does it irritate you?

- Does it prompt you to question your dress or overall appearance?

- Does it make you feel as if you left the house incomplete?

One of the nice things about getting old is NOT being looked at so much.

I learned that one of the personality characteristics is a sensitivity to being looked at. I'm sure I am way horridly high on that personality trait because working (pre-covid) in an open-plan office is all-day torture for me, I feel constantly observed there, I really dread having to go back to the office post-covid.

LOL! Doesn't bother me because me and the co-workers are usually having this convo behind the food bar....
"Ewww look at that dress. WTH possessed her to wear that? Is she pregnant?"

People used to stare at me a lot. Now I go basically unnoticed. LMAO!

Not anymore. When I was a teen I often did...like when I'd get a blemish on my nose. Now I have a burst vein on my forehead that my doctor thought was skin cancer but my dermatologist told me it is not. Anyhow I don't worry about it any longer. It's just a part of what makes me me.

Recently? Yes...once, when I stepped outside in just my bathrobe and the door locked on me. Had to walk all the way up to the manager's office, the full length of the complex, and then I had to wait there for the maintenance guy to find some spare time. Felt like forever.
Ok I have to admit that if I saw that, I’d chuckle too. Guilty as charged. ☺️
