Ever lose your phone in your bed?

1:00 AM….fiddling around with my phone in bed…eyes drooping…should have put phone on table beside bed. I think I remember waking in a haze and accidentally kicking it off the bed.

Woke up at 4AM ….oh no, where’s my phone?! :( I was afraid to move because I might crush/break it. Patted around trying to find it. No luck.

Very slowly got up…turned on light, looked under bed, which was a joke because without lenses I am truly blind.

Went to landline phone in living room and called my cell #…heard it ringing under the bed. Used my broom handle to carefully swish around under bed. Finally got it, and put in a safe place.

What a coincidence you asked. Just this morning. Slept in late. Picked up phone to check for a text message then fell back to sleep with it in my hand. When I finally woke up it was under a pillow. I have to call my cell at least once a week to find it. The only good reason for a landline lately.
 
Yes, yesterday. Looked everywhere, finally found it, after my black caterrorist deigned to leave my bed for some breakfast. Sigh. She had been sleeping on it.

...unless one wants to watch episodes of "Breaking Bad" on Netflix...yeah, yeah, I know I need to check into BB Rehab... :cry:
 
Never take my PHONE to bed. Like Holly, I have landline cordless receivers in most rooms.

Only use my cell when I go out of the house. Otherwise, it's in its charger.
 
Lost my Roku remote control a couple of hours ago. Just sitting in my recliner, reached over on a table where I keep it and not there. I had the darn thing just a few minutes before. Turned my recliner upside down, looked under furniture in my den and have looked in other rooms. Nada. Unbelievable. Now I can't watch Netflix on my tv or internet tv channels. Can watch on my laptop and/or hook up the laptop to the tv with a cable, but not ideal.

Hell to get old..........

Bullie, I have been misplacing things all my life. Comes from having sooo much intelligence that my genius crowds out the mundane aspects of everyday life. Yep, that's my delusion and I 'm sticking to it. Practice looking thoughtful, amazing how intelligent people will believe you are. Lol hmmm.
 
Our cells don't work in our house so we usually only use them to find each other in a store. I do sleep with a small flashlight, a book, bookmark and often an ipod with earbuds so I can listen to meditations if I can't sleep at night. I try to keep these items under the edge of my pillow but I've run into a lot of problems with losing something. I also sleep with 2 darn dogs and 1 husband.

I've even checked the garbage and refrig. Only two places I can think I have had any contact with over the afternoon. I know I didn't flush it down the toilet, didn't stop up. ;) Ordered a new one on ebay, just $7 but still a chaps me.
