Roller skating - absolutely not! Went to the rink to watch girls. - Ice skating - somewhat, did play a little hockey, wasn't very good - weak ankles, goalie mostly because of my size, not skill! Baseball was my sport of choice, adequate.

I went roller skating a couple of times in my youth. Fell down a lot.

Same with skiing, ice skating, roller blading.

Pretty much anything that required anything being put on your feet, I was just really bad at.

Weirdly enough, I was a really good skate boarder. (Mind you, this was in the days when a skateboard was just a mode of transportation)

I could cruise down the sidewalk, checking my newest baseball cards and drinking a YooHoo effortlessly.

If you watch the video on the very first post for this thread, you will see why this thread got it's name.

The intent was to post light hearted, funny, or interesting things, having to do with roller skating. It's here for entertainment value only.

That being said, if you don't have anything light hearted, funny, or interesting to add......no one is forcing you to participate. I'm sure you can find other threads that are more to your liking, elsewhere in The SF.
