awww.....sometimes unexpected things happen for a reason

I am that type of person who loves to give or receive a hug if I know the person. Or even if I don't as at times you can just sense that a person is desperately in need of human contact. That happened when I was picking up scripts for my cat and the couple had just euthanized their beloved pet....I know they appreciated the gesture.

I am a hugging person at times but not always. Sometimes I just need my space from everyone, too.

I come from a family of huggers. We'll hug anyone.

My former son-in-law (who I have an excellent relationship with still) came from a cold distant family. At first when he would be hugged, he'd stand there like a pole, not knowing what to do. In no time at all, he was an ardent hugger himself.

Hugging can be contagious.....
